3. Insurance:

The Insurance sector in India is on an upward surge and has progressed significantly over the last decade. This progress is amply evident in the strong growth witnessed in the insurance premiums, strengthened outreach, product innovations, increased number of players, and its enhanced regulatory framework. The untapped latent potential of the country and the recent regulatory developments that govern the current market state have been a boon for the growth of the sector and has led to the creation of new job opportunities.

The industry of late has achieved a yearly growth rate of around 32 - 34 percent, which makes it the fifth best among emerging sectors around the world. A combination of several factors, along with strong economic growth in last few years, has positioned India as a regional insurance hub and a rapidly developing financial super power.

The Indian insurance sector has accounted to about 27,100 new jobs in 2012.
