2. Infosys:
Infosys is the third largest IT firm in India, headquartered in Bangalore. The firm was established in the year 1981, formed by 7 noted engineers. The company is into providing business consulting, engineering, technology and outsourcing services. As per the latest employee count in Infosys, there are around 1,53,761 employees, in which 35 percent of them are women, along with 1 woman being a part of the board members of the firm along with 14 other men.
1. Genpact:
Genpact is a firm that offers range of enterprise and industry-specific services. It was formerly owned by General Electric Capital International Services. This firm operates from countries like India, China, Guatemala, Hungary, Morocco, Mexico, Poland, Australia etc. The CEO of this firm, Tiger Tyagarajan was considered the highest earned CEO in 2011, with 49 Crores per annum. Currently, the firm has an employee count of 60,000 and in that, 40 percent of the staff has been occupied by the women professionals, making it the top most IT firm in India with highest number of women workers. However, in the senior management level positions, there is not even a single woman in it, but it has 10 men in the board members.
