2. Chief Operating Officer:



This is the most hectic and the most desired profession on the list. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) holds a primary management position in a business organization and is basically responsible for handling a company’s short-term and routine management. Their job description involves working closely with the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and other principle management staff members to create business plans to compliment a company’s strategic plans. The duties of these professionals affect the productivity and profitability of a business institution.



With greater competition in the Indian market, the demand for COOs is expected to reach the sky and is predicted to grow at the rate of 30 percent in the coming years.




As per the Payscale website, the gross income for a chief operating officer is around 8.5 lakhs to 9.6 lakhs per annum. The educational requirement for this profession is a Master’s degree in business administration and some work experience.
