1. Accenture:



Accenture, a one-time partner of Arthur Anderson group, was founded in 1989. It is a multinational management consulting, technology services and outsourcing giant that has nearly a third of its employee-base in India. This company is continuing to aggressively increase these numbers by creating numerous job opportunities in a wide variety of areas. The number of employees in this prestigious company is around 257,000 as of 2012.

This management consulting giant recruits mostly from Top and Tier 1 schools, especially for the management consulting division. It usually hires grads from FMS (Faculty of Management Studies), IIM-A, IIM-B, and IIM-C. It looks at places like SIBM (Symbiosis Institute if Business Management), NIITE amongst others to hire candidates for technology division. There are also few entrants into the company from institutions like SIOM, and KIIT, especially on staff functions like Human Resources, Operations, etc.



As per Glassdoor, Accenture is a fun place to work in, has an open culture, and merits are rewarded.



The negative aspect of working in this company is that the work could be too demanding.
