The nuclear medicines are the small radioactive materials that are used to diagnose and treat diseases. Radiopharmaceutical allows nuclear medicine the ability to image the extent of a disease process in the body, based on the cellular function and physiology. These medicines are also used to treat certain special diseases like cancer and others



The title seems to be little complicated but the responsibilities involved in this field is quite simple and unique. Nuclear medicine technologists are professionals who prepare radioactive drugs and test them on patients undergoing the scans.
