Common Mistakes on a Resume That Must Be Avoided-



As per Ajit Chouhan, Senior HR professionals in Technology & IT, aspiring individuals should avoid repeated reference to past achievements and focus on the recent accomplishments and experience. He emphasized the importance of highlighting the fittingness of an individual for the position being applied, and added that, as most recruiters focus on finding the right-fit for the job, the profiles that match the open position have the best chances of being interview or landing a job.



His list of don’t includes fancy fonts, lengthy resumes and bold letters, along with grammatical and spelling mistakes.  



Others mistakes includes not specifying the exact of year of passing in the academic credentials, and inappropriate work experience that does not add up to the total number of working years, as per JM Prasad, Chief – Human Resources, ING Vysya Bank.
