4. Concentrate on the groundwork: It is quite a big challenge for shy people to face job interviews, presentations and meetings with managers and co-workers. In order to improve their performance during such kind of interactions, they should concentrate on the preparation by taking adequate time. They should try to imagine the entire interview scenario and ask themselves the questions that are more expected from the interviewers or the boss and the co-workers during a presentation or a business meeting. With regular practice they are sure to improve their interpersonal skills and can feel more confident at work.    



5. Listen Properly: An individual is sure to improve his interpersonal skill by listening. Likewise he is sure to achieve success in his career by knowing the skill of listening.  He will develop meaningful relationships, professional responsiveness and the interpersonal skills that lead to success. Shy people should listen carefully to people by checking out their mood and body language and recapitulate a conversation when they get a chance to assure the person that they are listening and understanding his conversation. This can prove to be a way to enter new professional life.
