Confidence while carrying out tasks is a good quality to have. It allows an individual to get past the doubts and helps them to take appropriate actions, which will ultimately lead to success.

But over confidence is never a good quality to have. It is the opposite extreme of distraction. Also they might try to dominate people around them, which make other people feel uncomfortable and insecure.
