2. Psychologist

Median Salary: 2.68 Lakh (As Per PayScale)

Hiring Outlook (Job Growth through 2020): 22 Percent

Being a psychologist is not all fun and little work. Often the profession necessitates you to put in long hours at work treating patients. And the added responsibility of building your brand, marketing yourself and dealing with the changes in the patient healthcare plans can be grueling and will take a lot away from your personal life.

In the words of Tony Lee, Publisher of CareerCast, "Psychologists are on the list because they're responsible for other people's lives and well-being", reports CNBC. And he added that, "It's a much more stressful job than people realize because of the nature of the folks you're dealing with".

Median Salary: 8.45 Lakh (Approximate)

Hiring Outlook: 15 Percent

Often counted amongst the most stressful jobs on the planet, surgeons are the runners up in the list of most overrated jobs.
