One Third of Senior Executives Globally Inclined for a Job Change: Report

Bangalore: A staggering 76 percent of the senior executives globally are open for a job change immediately if the right opportunities arise, while 49 percent of them are keenly looking for a new position, said the 2013 Executive Mobility Report by BlueSteps, as reported by Anumeha Chaturvedi of ET Bureau.     



The report also revealed that more than one third of the executives expect to change their industries in the coming there years. The executives employed in the technology sector showed the highest inclination for a job change, with 55.1 percent of the respondents from the industry reporting that they were open for a job change immediately, followed by the executives of financial services sector with about 50 percent reporting fondness for a job switch.   



Sales and marketing executives showed the least inclination for a change, with about 43.8 percent reporting that they would consider making a move.
