NSE, BHU Join Hands for Degree Programmes

Mumbai: The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has signed an agreement with the Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, to launch two new streams -- B.Com. (Hons) (Financial Market Management) and MBA (Financial Management), an official said on Tuesday.



BHU will be offering the degree programmes in collaboration with NSE from the current academic session 2015-16, the NSE official said in a statement here.



The objective of these courses is to create a pool of professionally qualified skilled managers and entrepreneurs to meet the growing needs of trade and industry in the coming years.



"These courses will help in bridging the skill-deficit gap, and prepare the younger generation for exciting opportunities in the financial market," said Ravi Varanasi, chief - business development, NSE.
