BENGALURU: “If you want to be rich and established, you need to study hard, and attend the best of schools and colleges,” is the most used phrase by all parents in most Indian homes. High scores, top ranks, and studying in best colleges, have always been the most crucial words in every student’s life. However, contracting the old belief of parents, the striking fact is that, the world’s most successful and richest technology ‘gurus’ don’t have a college degree to show to the world.



Looking at the tech entrepreneurs today, it shows that education or a paper degree framed on the wall is not a priority for one to become a billionaire; all that is needed is a plan, thirst for knowledge, hard work, enthusiasm, and effort. Bill Gates, the best known name in the list of successful tech geeks without a college degree includes Bill Gates. There isn’t any tech lover who hasn’t come across his name. Making Microsoft what it is today, Gates dropped out college at the age of 20, and has no college degree to show to the world.
