6. IIM Kozhikode:



Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is slowly and steadily emerging as the favorite destination for MBA education in India. IIM Kozhikode has attempted to carve out a place for itself as a leading B-school in India by placing its students in reputed companies like ICICI, Deutsche Bank, Arvin Meritor, Nomura, Deloitte Consulting, Cognizant, HUL, Goldman Sachs, Ingresoll Sachs, ITC and more.

A total of 135 different companies attended the placement process and recruited 317 students across marketing, finance, general management, consulting, operation, HR and IT sectors. The students from IIM Kozhikode were offered an average salary of 13, 02,000, which is an increase by 7 percent as compared to the last year.

The highlight of the current year’s placement is the significant increase in the number PPOs (Pre Placement Offer) offered to students. Companies offered 51 PPOs for students across various sections, which are significantly higher compared to 18 PPOs in 2011.
