Most Preferred B-Schools by Recruiters Every Year
Bangalore: In the present situation, Indian B-schools have emerged as a mixed bag. While there are some excellent institutions, a lot of things are to be desired from a majority of them. As a result, we are witnessing a particular pattern among aspirants seeking admission into B-schools. Most of the aspirants consider placements as the major factor for entering a B-school.
Here is a list of B-schools that saw the maximum number of recruiter turn up in the current year, as reported on CoolAvenues.
1. IIM Ahmedabad:
Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) had as many as 120 recruiters visiting its campus during placements 2012, which included top consulting firms, global investment banks and IT companies such as Boston Consulting Group, Mckinsey and Co, Royal Bank of Scotland, Accenture, IBM, Supermax and more.

A total of 365 students sought employment through the institution this year and IBM emerged as the highest recruiter, having hired 21 aspirants. The minimum and maximum domestic salary offered to the grads stood between 
6, 70,000 – 37, 00,000 and the international salary was around $50,000 - $108,276.
