In India, when it comes to the local transport, it has always been the men as drivers, who have made it there. However, these days we see women are also taking up driving jobs, for their daily bread. Prema Ramappa Nadapatti was the first female driver of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). This woman is also referred to as 'daredevil' by her colleagues.
