Kolkata Students to Visit NASA

Kolkata: As many as 22 students of an institute here will take off to the U.S. Sep 19 for an intensive workshop at the Kennedy Space Center of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).



The students of M. C. Kejriwal Vidyapeeth here are gearing up for a three-day workshop that will focus on robotics, space technology, micro gravity, rocket designing, launching and various other aspects of NASA's space programme.



Accompanied by two teachers, the students will also tour popular sites such as Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios in Orlando, Niagara Falls in Buffalo, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, and Madam Tussaud's in New York.



"Both the students and the teachers are looking forward to this excursion which, they are confident, will be a great learning opportunity and an exhilarating experience. The school hopes to organize many such educational trips in the future", said K.K. Kejriwal, managing trustee, M. C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth.
