Job cuts: 250



Another E-commerce company of Indian origin, Jabong is Indian fashion and lifestyle online portal who offers varieties of products like apparel, footwear, accessories, beauty products, fragrances, home accessories, and other fashion and lifestyle products.



The online major was also seen making job cuts during the year. Though the company didn't officially reveal the exact number of layoffs, it is believed that the company laid off close to 250 employees, out of its total employee workforce of 1000. However, co-founder Praveen Sinha claimed that it was only 20 jobs.



HCL Tech



Job cuts: 140



HCL is also an Indian origin IT service provider who has a global presence across 31 countries.



HCL is one of the leading global Technology and IT Enterprise who offer wide range of offerings like R&D and Technology Services, Enterprise and Applications Consulting, BPO services, IT Hardware, Systems Integration and Distribution of Technology and Telecom products in India.



The company is on the list for laying off 140 people in Finland. The company also said that it only fired employees who were hired for a Nokia project and not from any other sector.
