The report also specified that after India it was Indonesia, Mexico, Argentina, South Africa and Turkey which consisted of most number of employees who worked under the telecommuting basis. Hungary, Germany, Sweden, France, Italy and Canada were the countries which consisted of least number of employees who worked on telecommuting basis frequently.

The global survey also found that about 25 percent of the employees with higher education were the people who telecommute on an everyday basis. This was followed by the employees who were under the age of 35 and those men with high household income more than women telecommute on daily basis.

This trend of telecommuting has seemed to keep more number of talented women in the workforce. It can help more women who wish to succeed in their career. This is the point to be considered because, for a woman in this fast moving world, it is pretty difficult to cop up with both her personal and professional life. But she has to give equal prominence to both. There are many examples, where women sacrificed their professional life temporarily or permanently to focus on their personal life. So, by this telecommuting trend, it can be helpful to many such women who wish to grow up in their career by working from home. The telecommuting process can help them to concentrate both on the personal and professional life.
