Previously, IIM-Ahmedabad and IIM-Bangalore set the benchmark by getting accreditation from Equis, which is another top accreditation agency. And now, IIM-C is on the verge of raising the bar to a new level by gaining double accreditation.

In the words of Anindya Sen, IIM-C dean (academic), "We are extremely excited at the prospect of having four experts on our campus for two days next week. Apart from assessing information that we have furnished, AMBA experts might also give us directions on how to position ourselves as a global institute so that we can attract more foreign students. We will become more acceptable in the global market with these two accreditations," reports the Times of India.

The inspection team from AMBA is slotted to arrive at the Joka campus on January 14-15 and validate the details before providing the final approval; while, the AACSB team is expected to visit the campus in the month of June.
