To have a good relationship with your boss, try to make your relationship with him or her like a friend more than a boss and an employee. To have a good friendly relationship with the boss, it is not necessary to discuss only the office works with them. Try to discuss about your hobbies, your interests, current affairs etc, with your boss as it can help you to build a good rapport with your boss.
