Bangalore: We generally enjoy office happy hours as the after work party acts as a stress buster moreover we tend to feel relaxed in such kind of a situation where everyone is enjoying and the whole atmosphere is light and entertaining. However, in such kind of a situation it is seen that many people out of excitement take excessive alcohol and forget that they should maintain certain boundaries, as their boss and co- workers are also there, with whom they will have to come across the very next day. Therefore, in order to keep yourself from feeling awkward in the next day after regaining your senses, it is advisable for you to avoid the listed below situations at office happy hour, suggests Daily Muse contributor on Forbes.  Keep in mind that office happy hours are arranged in order to feel refreshed and not to feel embarrassed.

1. Avoid Indulging in group gossips: It is really good to hang out with colleagues at office happy hour, but that does not mean you start gossiping with them about your other co- workers. If you feel that your co- workers are criticizing about other people in the organization take a back turn and keep yourself away from such gossips. You must know that indulging in such gossips can take a bad turn if any of those people with whom you are bitching happens to go and leak your nasty comments to others. Especially if you are a new comer keep yourself entirely away from such a scenario.
