Even after talking politely, if things do not work out in your favor, do not delay to inform the higher authorities about the problems caused by him. This can turn out to be fruitful and things may change if he gets a warning from the boss. Keep in mind that your boss may surely have the solution to this kind of a problem that can affect your productivity at work.

If things are taking the worst shape and there is no change in the situation, try to talk with the higher officials in the organization for a transfer or a shift in the department. If they do not take any step to change your position look for a different job and settle the matter peacefully. Even if you are quite talented, experiencing disturbance every day at work can affect your performance and therefore can also ruin your image in the organization
