Sir Charles Spencer “Charlie” Chaplin was a well known English comic actor, film director and composer during the silent era. Before the end of 1st World War, he became the most popular star in the entire world. After his father died at a very young age, Chaplin who was a young boy at that time and his brother had to lead their life by themselves as his mother was sent to a mental hospital after his father’s death, reports his website.
