As per these figures, the employee count in India is 40 percent higher than the employee count in its home country. And almost one in every three employees in the organization is employed in India, which is a clear indication that the country is transforming itself into a global IT hub.

Backing this claim are other biggies such as Accenture, Capgemini, Computer Science Corporation (CSG) and many others. Accenture has a 90,000 strong workforce in the country, which is more than double the employee count in its traditional home, the U.S. Similarly, Capgemini has doubled its employee count in India in the last two-and-half years, and out of the 1.25 lakh workforce, the French IT major has 44,000 employees working in the country. And India accounts for 24,000 out of 98,000 employees in CGS.
