Setting goals: Most successful people set short term, long term goals and they make sure they reach that. However there is one thing to this formula, it also adds pressure early in the morning. Setting a goal for the day is really good but if you are not someone who can work that way then don’t do it. Some people work better with outlined goals, others work better with a free hand, where they mentally understand what they need to do and gets the work done with the flow of the day.

Tidy up the workstation: It is extremely difficult to focus when your workstation is pretty messy. It also can reflect on your attitude and character so have a tidy workstation, so that you actually feel like working. Remember the way you are and your environment also goes a long way with the relation and attitude of those around you.

Be a team player: Nobody likes selfish, arrogant and prideful person, so don’t be that. When you get to work or after you have settled down a bit at your workstation, go and greet your colleagues. Share a light moment with them so that you raise your spirit and most importantly their spirits up in the morning. If you do this, you will learn to see that it will go a long way through the day and in days to come. It also reduces employee conflict at work.
