The hyperlocal delivery app, PepperTap decided to shut down its cash-burning grocery delivery operations that resulted in about 150 job cuts. The shutdown was reported to be the company’s move towards improving the focus on expanding its logistics business. The company backed up by Snapdeal has around 150 employees where 50 of them will be absorbed.
