E-Commerce Startups Enforcing Job Cuts

BENGALURU: The Indian startup ecosystem is apparently in a bit of turbulence, despite the new relaxation schemes towards them. Reports of delayed appointments, and massive job cuts have been floating around the news recently. The stress to achieve targets, low rate of funding could be the cause for this unexpected outcome, which has particularly affected the e-commerce startups. 



1. FlipKart





Reported to be as part of the cost saving initiatives, the Indian E-commerce giant Flipkart is showing the exit doors to about 700 employees that is almost 3% of its employee base. The employees who are not able to keep up with the company performance standards are asked to either resign or face a termination soon.
