2. “Better at managing performance”



The second point demonstrated that as compared to five years earlier, U.S. employees give better marks to the employers for their performance management as 70 percent of them stated that they have clearly defined performance goals and objectives. 40 percent of the respondents said that they are rewarded for their good performance and 46 percent of the employees said that their company does an adequate job of matching pay to performance. According to another survey by Staples Advantage, company incentive programs are very important.



3.“Women perceive pay disparities”



Salary is considered as a top motivator for employees. Therefore, it is not surprising to find that women employees in U.S. are quite sensitive to differences in pay packages between themselves and their male counterparts. Fewer women than men believed that they are actually satisfied with the base pay that they are paid fairly given their performance and contributions, and that they are paid fairly compared to other people performing similar jobs.
