With 12 national holidays, the Spanish workers are entitled to receive a minimum of 22 vacation days per year. And if employees are good at bargaining the number may even go up at few work places.



However, according to the Spanish law the employers are entitled to give employees a total of one month off a year, but the problem surfacing the issues is major chunk of the Spanish workers cannot even locate jobs. 



According to the OECD, Spain's unemployment rate is at its highest at 25.1 percent, which is higher than any other affiliate country. As part of its broader reforms Spain made some important decisions by making separate pays to reduce firing costs and passed new rules that would limit collective bargaining for wages. Some advocates even took a step ahead by pushing further reforms, while the Bank of Spain advocating for the temporary elimination of the country's minimum wage.
