Following the crisis in the late 2000’s, Hungary went into one of the worst economic slumps in its history. Subsequently, the exports and domestic consumption has reached to an all time low, fixed asset accumulation took a major hit and job market was nearly shut.

Yes, at a time when other economies from round the world are struggling to stay afloat, Turkey has emerged as the fastest growing economy in Europe and is one of the fastest growing economies in the world. But the country’s striking economic growth and its comparable strength in the job market do not go hand-in-hand or synchronize with each other. It still houses an unemployment rate which is well above the global average.
