Can Facebook make you a better college student?

How addicted are you to social media? A study conducted by the University of Maryland tried to get an answer. It asked students not to use social media for 24 hours and the findings showed that students are so used to social media in getting connected with current news that when they unplug, they felt extremely miserable.



So, what about your self-esteem getting affected by the use of social media? According to studies, even though updating Facebook status adds to the student's confidence, those who spend more time on Facebook are more self-centered then others.
