BANGALORE: Contrary to the popular perception, recruiters and hiring managers are not aware of every aspects of the company or the open position and are not necessarily meticulously trained to conduct a job interview.

Myth #10: Interview Invite Does Not Mean the Job Is Still Open



Sometimes recruiters or hiring managers just go through the motions of screening process after having picked an inside applicant or someone with a personal association to the company. Though it is not the case always, it shouldn’t deter you from attending a job interview. This is because you never know where an interview may lead you and an unexpected job offer may be just round the corner. 



Myth #9: Most Qualified Person Gets the Job



The job market has evolved drastically over the past few decades. Optimum qualification and good grades no longer guarantee you a job offer.



The recruiters of today give more weightage to personality, attitude and aspiration over qualification and scores on paper.
