The golden rule of the work etiquette suggests you to treat your co-worker as the way you want to be treated. You should keep yourself away from teasing your co-worker in public. You should address that employee if you meet his/her boss. Whenever you write something, you should not do it out of anger, or with unkindness or with any complaints. You must know your boundaries and stay away from overstepping them.
