Ireland: The Irish government altogether has a different prospective for students willing to work and learn in their country. International students from outside the European Economic Area who are pursuing a full-time course with a qualification recognized by the Minister for Education and Science are permitted to take up casual employment. Casual employment is what the Irish government calls and it is entitled to provide up to 20 hours part-time work per week or full-time work during normal college vacation periods. Few more important norms to be taken into consideration is unless an international student is attending a recognized course, they will not be allowed to access employment during their stay in Ireland. The right to work lapses automatically once the period of study is completed, except for a 12 month extension available to third level graduates.
Italy: Another country that has a different prospective for international students is Italy. If an international student has acquired a visa for study reasons and needs to stay in Italy for more than 90 days, he/she must request a residence permit and this is mandatory as per the Italian government norms. The country also has further provision where any international student with a residence permit is allowed to have a part-time job like Italian citizens, but these individuals can work not more than 20 hours a week.
