4. Appreciate and Offer Rewards:

It is essential for a leader to encourage his team members. The easiest way to do this is by appreciating and rewarding an individual for his hard work and efforts. Appreciation and rewards can work wonders on the recipient as well as the entire team, and acts as the biggest stimulus to continue working hard.

5. Rectify, Don’t Ridicule:

It is not necessary to ridicule an individual for his / her mistakes. People believe that pointing out mistakes invariably includes some degree of ridicule, which is not true. In fact, there is a huge difference between correcting an individual and ridiculing. Hence it is essential for an aspiring leader to understand the difference between ridiculing and correcting. Correct someone without being angry, making derogatory remarks or hurting sentiments, and be diplomatic in handling the mistakes of others, which constitutes rectification. This establishes you as an unwearied and proficient leader ready to take on the world.
