Leonard A. Schlesinger, Charles F. Kiefer, and Paul B. Brown from Harvard Business Review were of the opinion that, as a professional, if you can’t afford to do the thing you are passionate about or even if you do it you are not been able to feed your family well, then it is better for you not to bet on your economic life on what you love to do. At the same time, they also suggest you to accommodate some quality time to do the work you love the most from your busy schedule. Even if you find a little time like just for 15 minutes take up your loved work so that your mind will get freshen up to continue your routine work.

For satisfaction, it would be good if you go with a lower paying job than a good paying job you hate the most. In that way even your sickness rate will reduce as you would find happiness in the job you love the most. Anyhow, if you are really passionate on what you want to do in your career life, you would move on for a better option even if you are not paid well in that profession and if you would like to stick to what you do, you will no doubt be paid well. It is up to you on what you want to choose.
