BANGALORE: Not all the countries around the globe are a good destination to opt for a good job. If this description matches your career ambitions, then you’re certainly lucky because some of the countries listed below don’t give the same freedom as the other counties provide. ITUC Global Rights Index covered violations in 139 countries recorded over the past 12 months. Index measured each country against 97 indicators such as a right to strike, freedom of association, severity, and murder or disappearance. The countries were then given numerical ratings for each of these indicators and were ranked with a final score of 1-5 with 1 being best and 5+ being worst. So if you want to stay in your current job but have the same level of excitement in your lifestyle, here is the list of 8 worst countries you should be aware of before you make a decision, as listed by ITUC.
Central African Republic: After Seleka rebel alliance captured the capital ousting President Francois Bozize in March 2013, the country has subsequently descended into ethno-religious violence. Thousands of public have been brutally murdered, and more recently, militias in revenge for the rebels’ seizure of power have targeted Muslims. Insight of several warnings by the UN that there is a high risk of genocide, the Security Council expressed concern about the collapse of the administration. The country has therefore received the default worst rating 5+ in which it makes highly difficult for working professionals and immigrants to find work.
