Woman Tops IFS Exams Of UPSC

NEW DELHI: A woman has topped the Indian Forest Service (IFS) examinations, 2014 results of which were announced today by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

As many as 85 people have been chosen for appointment in IFS. Anshika Agrawal has secured the first position, as per the list of successful candidates released by UPSC.

Of the 85 successful candidates, 32 are in General category, 34 in Other Backward Classes (OBC), 13 in Scheduled Caste (SC) and six in Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, it said.

UPSC conducted Indian Forest Service (Main) examination 2014 in November-December, last year. It was followed by Personality Test held in February.

The Commission has a facilitation counter near examination hall building in its campus. Candidates may obtain any information or clarification regarding their examination or recruitment on working days between 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs in person or over Telephone Nos. 011-23385271, 23381125, 23098543, the Commission said.
