Vinod Dham joins Spime's Board of Advisors
Fremont: California based Spime, a provider of social location technology announced the addition of Vinod Dham in its Board of Advisors. Dham is the founding Managing Director of IndoUS Venture Partners.

"Spime is delighted to have someone of Vinod's caliber join thier Advisory Board. Vinod has a very distinguished career as both an early stage and Fortune 500 company executive. He brings deep management experience and thought leadership which will be invaluable to Spime, says Shankar Narayanan, CEO of Spime."

Dham got an exposure to India by managing a cross boarder incubator, NewPath Ventures LLC that leveraged India's high-skilled, low-cost talent as R& D for U.S. based Startups. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Spice, a start-up that was eventually sold to Broadcom for $1.2 billion. He was also the Chief Operating Officer at NexGen and was instrumental in its successful sale to AMD for $800m.

Before his start-up stints, Dham was a senior executive at Intel and was known as "Father of Pentium" for his contributions to a project that yielded great success. During his 16 years at Intel, he successfully managed multi-billion dollar revenue projects in the 386, 486, and Pentium processor families and was co-inventor of Intel's flash technology. Location based technology and services are becoming increasingly relevant to our daily lives. "I am very impressed with the quality of the Spime team and look forward to advising Spime's management and board on actively pursuing growth opportunities in Silicon Valley and across the world." says Dham.
