BANGALORE: When it comes to engineering you just can’t keep the software engineers away and no one can certainly ignore this fact.  A comprehensive new study by Chef, a code automation company shows that developers are emerging as a new power class and are being recognized as a highly influential group in business and society. Though once they were traditionally considered as a group which was considered underappreciated and not well understood in the organizations. At present this group is recognized as the source of ideas and innovation.

The research was based on a survey of 1,000 software developers to find out their business, societal, financial and political behavior. Its findings revealed unique attributes of today’s developers about how these individuals are looking at their careers and their involvement towards their communities that’s influencing governments.

Of late, software developers are in high demand and there is no second thought about it. In fact this profession was ranked the #1 best job of 2014 by U.S. News.
