BANGALORE: You’ve probably read that applications to MBA programs have been trending and you might think it’s slightly easier to get into a top ranked business school. But in reality, it is literally the opposite. Even with the best GMAT scores and resume credentials, getting into a top business school is a highly competitive process at this time and to be honest, can sometimes feel like a risky undertaking.
According to the 2015 guide to business schools released by Princeton Review , here are the most selective business schools, which can be tough nut to crack to even the most qualified talent, as reported by Melissa Stanger of Business Insider.
Stanford University: Stanford Graduate School of Business
Coming from a public sector background, the Stanford School of Business has certainly transformed many students’ understanding of how the world works and it is surely hard to get into this prestigious institute than any other business school in the U.S.
The reason why it has a lowest acceptance rate is its typical curriculum. One aspect that makes Stanford unique is that all students are required to go abroad, either on short trips with other students or on longer stays during the summer.
