Mimosa Systems appoints Michael Sheridan as new CFO

Bangalore: T.M. Ravi founded Mimosa Systems, a provider of email, file and SharePoint archiving solution has appointed Michael Sheridan as the company's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
"Mike Sheridan is a highly versed and experienced CFO with a strong track record in managing the unique challenges of rapidly growing organizations like ours," said T.M. Ravi, CEO, Mimosa Systems.
Sheridan has an experience of 22 years as a senior financial executive overseeing the management of finance, operations, treasury, investor relations, human resources and legal departments. In his recent assignment, Sheridan was CFO of Playlist, a global music and entertainment service and before this he was he CFO of Facebook.
Sheridan has also held CFO positions at IGN Entertainment and Sonicwall. He has held senior finance positions at Genesys Telecommunications Labs and Network Appliance. Sheridan has an extensive record in transaction based financial management including three initial public offerings, several private equity and debt financings and several acquisitions ranging in size from $2 million to $650 million.
