IIMs Outclass Other B-Schools in Central Asia; IIM-B Emerges As the Best

Bangalore: Finally, Indians have a reason to cheer. After the prestigious IITs failed to make it big on the global stage, their management counterparts (IIMs) have struck gold by emerging as the best in Central Asia. The latest Eduniversal 2013 Ratings and Rankings for Central Asia, the Indian Institute of Management-Bangalore (IIM-B) managed to outclass its sister institutes from Ahmedabad and Kolkata to garner the top honor. IIM-A and IIM-C grabbed the next two positions in the list, reports the Hindu.



The rankings which recognized top three B-schools across nine different zones spread all over the world were announced on the first day of the four-day 6th Eduniversal World Convention that commenced in the garden city of India, Bangalore. And IIM-B hosted the convention that brought together business educators, deans and professionals from about 50 different countries.
