BANGALORE: Hiring skilled individuals is a tedious and time consuming work for the companies that have the board ‘We are hiring’. The selection procedures through which a potential candidate goes through is often lengthy with different rounds testing their capability, reports BI.

But time is a precious factor to keep in mind where businesses gain and topple all in a matter of seconds. So, now the lethargic process of hiring is shriveled down to 12 minutes.

Yes, in just 12 minutes of selection process the company or the concerned HR can assess the strengths and vitalities of a candidate. All this is made possible by Cocubes Technologies which devised ‘Cognitive Ability Speed Test (CAST)’ that contains 50 questions varying on English grammar, ratios, percentage and inductive reasoning, to get the gist of cognitive capabilities of a candidate.

Apparently, this process of ‘speed hiring’ is gaining attention and e-commerce websites like Snapdeal, FoodPanda, Quikr, Ola and other startup companies are implying this procedure nurturing to the proverbial saying ‘Time is Money’.

With this time saving process developed by Cocubes, companies which need fresh talents to fill in their respective job roles got much easier.

"While CAST is definitely more popular among start-ups with large-scale hiring, larger established companies like WNS and Allianz Cornhill are also using it," CoCubes' co-founder and CEO Harpreet Singh Grover said.
