Bangalore: Good news for IIM aspirants! An additional 115 seats are up for grabs across all the 13 IIMs in the country, as reported by Manash Pratim Gohain for TNN.

IIMs are likely to raise the number of registrations for the CAT 2013 (Common Admission Test 2013) owing to the swell in the number of available seats. This raise will take the total number of seats across the 13 IIMs in the country to 3,335. And the organizers are also anticipating a bigger and better participation of female candidates since the IIMs have started giving additional point for female applicants during admissions.

CAT has also launched e-vouchers this year. However, the vending of physical vouchers will not stop. Furthermore, the number of cities where CAT 2013 is to be conducted has also seen a rise. This year four additional entries have been added to the list of 36 cities where the tests are to be conducted.
