Bangalore: Good news folks! There is a way to curb the high attrition rate that is causing havoc in the corporate world. A recent survey by Aon Hewitt, titled ‘Employee Preference Study 2013’ revealed that flexible work arrangements along with fixed pay and higher incentives are the three most preferred benefits that majority of the employees in the country crave for. And the best way to attract or retain talent is to concentrate on these three employees benefits, as reported by Saumya Bhattacharya and Anumeha Chaturvedi of ET Bureau.



As per Sandeep Chaudhary, Partner, Talent & Rewards, Aon Hewit, gone are the days when cash compensation or just take-home pay was enough to attract talent. Presently the drivers of attention, engagement and retention have changed, and flexible work arrangements have emerged has the most effective factor that can lure proficient talent. He added that, there is need for employers to come up with innovative ways to engage talent and keep them happy.



Several top corporate houses in the country, which include the likes of IBM, Citi, Mahindra & Mahindra, P&G, HSBC and PwC, have already realized the importance of flexible work arrangements and are using this perk as a way to retain and motivate talent.
