Bangalore: Fake University degree racket seems to be deeper than it looks and Bangalore University has emerged as the epicenter of this epidemic, as reported by Sruthy Susan Ullas & Garima PrasherSruthy Susan Ullas & Garima Prasher of TNN.
The recent incident that surfaced in the coastal city of Mangalore appears to be only the tip of the iceberg. And the inefficiency of the police establishment to curb the menace has emerged as a headache to the university and the local employers.
Rubbing salt on the wound is the open advertisements on various online mediums, which claims to provide degree certificates for various universities without any sweat and within on time. From SSLC to PU to post-graduation to diplomas, the rot doesn’t seem to end.
Bangalore University's sources claim that they deal with fake certificates on a regular basis and they added that nearly 1 to 3 percent of the certificates that comes for verification are forged.
