Exciting Yet Underrated College Majors

Bangalore: There are a lot alluring college majors that are both rationally and intellectually exciting. But unfortunately, not all get the same kind of respect and value in the job market.       

With this in mind, we have put together a list of degrees that are exciting by nature; yet don’t necessarily get the same kind of value as some of the other college majors, as reported by Caitlin Dewey of Yahoo Finance.

Drama and Theater Arts

Yes, this is certainly an enchanting field of study. But unfortunately, unless you are a Shahrukh Khan or Amir Khan, earning a degree in field will not probably pay off. Rubbing salt on the wounds of these grads is the poultry starting salary, which is the lowest in the list.

Theaters and films are also one of the most competitive fields, and the job growth is stalled out. As a result, nearly nine out of ten theater grads end up in other field such as sales, education or office work.
