Bangalore: Financial slowdown has shaken the very foundation of the country and the youth are not very confident about the future job prospects, reports Vikas Dhoot of ET Bureau.

Youth which constitutes a major portion of the population of the country are not entirely pleased and are feeling unsecure about the employment opportunities. In the words of young India, this is the worst time for employment post-reforms.

The situation could turn from bad to worse, say pundits, if there is no immediate revival of business sentiments and if Elections 2014 fail to produce a vindicating verdict.

Three out of the four youth in the country claim this is the worst economic times in the history of the country, and added that the situation after 2008 global crisis was far better compared to the current economic slumber. More than half reckon that job-hunting in the current times is like fishing without bait.
