E-commerce Firms Hiring in Big Numbers at IIMs

Bangalore: This placement season e- commerce companies are hiring students in big numbers at the Indian Institutes of Managements (IIMs), indicating the fearlessness and upcoming period of a sector that has hard cash forcing its strong desire for success and admirer’s in its prospective, reports Devina Sengupta and  Radhika P Nair of ‘The EconomicTimes.’    



These e- commerce firms are hardly a couple of years old, and are equipped with attractive persuasion and money hikes from venture capital and private equity firms. The recruiters of the e-commerce companies are taking the top slots abandoned by more usual employers who are less likely to hire applicants due to the economic slowdown. 



E-commerce firms such as RedBus, Letsbuy, Via, Valyoo Technologies and Snapdeal are recruiting for the first time from IIM campuses and have selected fresher’s and experienced applicants at pay packages extending between 8 lakh and 16 lakh. Companies like Mynthra, who have been only recruiting candidates from IIM- Bangalore last year, has extended their hiring programs in the other IIM’s in the country as well.
